Overall I enjoyed this book, but the ending was a little cheesy. I felt like some of the characters and their storylines were unnecessary. The chapters were also really, really long.

Entertaining enough to read and keep going, and slightly fun twist at the end, but wouldn't necessarily read again or recommend out of all the Elin books.

This is my least favorite of all her books. The characters are one dimensional and mostly unlikeable. Her portrayal of autism was horrible. Although she was possibly trying to address racism, it was so poorly done, it made me wonder about her views. I would not recommend.

The first book I read by this author, The Hotel Nantucket, was light an rather enjoyable. However, I didn't enjoy this one as much. The characters were childish and whiney, but I held on to the end to see how the story concluded since I just hate to stop reading a book once I've started it. The resolution was less than satisfying and clear this one likely has or will have a sequel or two. However, I won't be reading it.

Such an interesting combination of love, drama, heartbreak, romance, and relationships. Leaves you wondering what will happen next summer at the beach club, yet knowing it’ll be just another summer of people changing.
