Everyone in this book sucks. And it is very late ‘90’s/early ‘00’s, but not in a good way.

Theresa repeatedly laments that her 30 year old employee won’t marry her 18 year old daughter. And it’s implied that she’s been asking him to do so for several years. He has no interest in doing so, but the mother keeps bringing it up.
