I absolutely loved this installment in the Front Desk series. Yang made me tear up multiple times in the last quarter of the book. Unlike the third instlalment which dipped a little due to the split in the plot/setting, this one had one driving conflict which built on the events of al three previous books. Yang also continues to develop Mia's character, maintaining the growth from previous books which gives the events in this book even more impact.

Really enjoyed this addition to the series and the slightly different change in emphasis this time. Yang evolves the story beyond the motel plot and it feels refreshed
