It was cute, rereading Pride and Prejudice with a twist of zombies. The book wasn't fantastic, but it was enjoyable. Seth keeps the whole zombie thing going even when things are quiet in Longbourn. The book is mostly made up of the original text. I can't say much for the book, other then: if you liked Pride and Prejudice, this twist would be enjoyable. I was just a little disturbed when Lizzie ate a raw heart. XD But it's like a sign saying: don't take this seriously. Readers get to read of a kick-ass Elizabeth and a kick-ass Darcy. Plus, there's an enjoyable scene between Lady Catherine and Lizzie. The main thing for me though, was the lack of creativity other than the zombies. I'm assuming Seth didn't want to stray too far from the original book.

A funny, enjoyable, mindless read. It retains the charm of the original, though much more ridiculous and with some modern additions.

The best part of this remains Jane Austen's. The addition of Zombies is sometimes too absurd albeit funny enough. It remains a classic tale - with Zombies.

Honestly, I couldn't finish the book. It was somewhat amusing for about 5 pages, and then I just got frustrated with it. Most of the time, the new language/reality didn't feel very well integrated into the original. Unlike in the original, I couldn't care less about any of the characters; they were all equally annoying and I just wanted them to shut up and/or get eaten by the 'unmentionables.' Whoever decided that the illustrations were of a good enough quality to include in the book needs to seriously reconsider their choice. They were not only almost always too busy, but they often lacked proper perspective or proportion, and the faces always had the same expressions on them. If they'd all been done with the same care and at the same level as the cover drawing, then they would have been great. Finally, this book needed some serious editing. There were grammatical and spelling mistakes all over the place. I know that a few will slip through the cracks in nearly every book, but to have a half dozen or so in the first 50 pages is just unacceptable.

Absolutely loved it!! It's classic with a lovely, modern twist that has been skillfully blended into the original narrative.

Rereading this book again has changed my mind a lot. I enjoyed this much better this time around than I did previously. The way Elizabeth Bennet and her sisters are portrayed hold true, in my opinion, to what Jane Austen would have wanted, as does the portrayal of the other characters in this book. I also love the way the zombies were included; they were not pushed into the story, but they felt to be a probable way for there to be zombies in Austen's England.

Overall, I highly enjoyed this book. I would say that if you love Jane Austen, and you love zombies, I would greatly recommend you pick up this book and devour it.

It was just so dang good, and the movie was a delight. I hate to say it but I don't at all. I read this book in one sitting with a cup of tea and a fuzzy blanket. Good day.
