I’m not sure I knew I was going to give this book a four star review until I started to write this, but here we are. I really liked this. It fulfilled my YA loves and hit me with deep topics, love, death, grief, loss and self development. It emphasises the importance of talking and sharing and that twist!!

This book was a lovely little tell with a heart wrenching twist that made me cry. The plot was well-developed, flowed easily, but the beginning was a little difficult for me since I personally struggle at times with a character who seemingly loathes themselves. However, that catalyst was needed for the growth that came!

There isn’t enough words to describe this book. How well the characters were written as well as the relationship between Marley and Kyle. It’d have me sobbing and then a moment later laughing. The way this book talked about loss and dealt with the death of loved ones was written really well especially with the sadness Marley felt toward losing Laura. But I think one of the best things about this book was that it kept me guessing. I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I wanted to know towards the end of the book if Marley was real. If Kyle would find her. And when he did, I wanted to know if she’d talk to him. But on the last twenty pages when everything was going well I was on edge because I knew something would happen to split them up. When the book described Marley leaving to go with sister, I felt horrible because of how well Marley and Kyle were written I felt attached to them. At the last second, when I thought that they wouldn’t have their “happy ending” that Kyle had talked about, she woke up. I. Can. Not. Even. Explain. The. Relief. This book was INCREDIBLE and I will never stop recommending it. 100% 5 out of 5 read.

Este libro me hizo tan feliz, fue una historia que vivi y sentí cada parte, no le doy 5 estrellas por que al inicio me pareció lento pero eso no le quita que cada vez es más hermoso

for anyone who believes in true impossible love this book is for you. I’m just gonna go cry about the fact that when I read the last chapter ‘say you won’t let go’ was playing in the background and that lined up PERFECTLY with what kyle said :”)
