Let's start with the cover—who hasn't judged a book by its cover? I almost always do, and this one certainly caught my eye. The cover is stunningly beautiful and immediately draws you in, setting the tone for the story within.
"All This Time" follows the story of Kyle, a young man grappling with the sudden loss of his girlfriend, Kimberly, after a tragic accident. Struggling with grief and guilt, Kyle's world is turned upside down until he meets Marley, a girl who is also dealing with her own heartbreaking loss. Together, they begin to heal, finding solace in each other's company. But as they grow closer, Kyle starts to notice strange occurrences that make him question the reality around him, leading to a surprising and emotional journey of love, loss, and healing.
This book delves into themes of overcoming adversity, dealing with loss and grief, and learning to move on. While the story is tender and heartwarming, some of the medical details felt overly dramatic and theatrical. However, I can overlook this since I was reading a novel, not a medical textbook.
The overall story is sweet, a romance that unfolds like a fairy tale, filled with unexpected twists and turns. There's even a quirky detail about ducks liking popcorn—who wouldn’t find that endearing? The narrative is constantly evolving, keeping the reader engaged with its surprises.
However, I expected to be more emotionally moved by this book, perhaps even shed a few tears, but that didn't happen. The ending, while cute, lacks the impactful or shocking moments that might have left a lasting impression.
It's a quick and enjoyable read, and while it may not be extraordinary, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a lighter take on grief and mourning.

This was so good! I cried. It was stressful, lol. There were several plot twists, some I saw coming and others I didn't. I would give it 5 stars, but the YA aspects got annoying sometimes. But other than that, it was very, very good!

Second re-read of this book.
This story continues to be one of my favourites. It’s one that I always recommend to friends and those wanting to get into reading. It’s the perfect love story dealing with mental health as well as grief.
5/5 always!

Solo amigos, Kyle —me grita—. Ese era el trato.

I could not get into this. It felt like a Riverdale episode on ecstasy; one unbelievably cracked plot point after another. This behaviour just felt so toxic and unrealistic that I almost didn't finish it.
Brilliant cover. It’s a shame about the story. I guess the old adage still stands.
