Read- March 2020 for Middle Grade March
- Cathryn Constable is not the author for me. I just don't understand why she makes her main characters so stupid, like yes they may be young girls but that doesn't mean they are completely oblivious to the world around them.

I enjoyed this but it also just felt like it pushed my bounds of believability a bit too far - mostly with the "real life" things. But it was a fun read.

I simply adored this book! I actually wrote to Cathryn Constable about it, I got a reply. This book increased my fascination for wolves and the country Russia. I thought it was well written (third person which I love) and a brilliant story line. Towards the end you started to predict what was going to happen but it was mixed in with plenty of unpridicted things.
