I received a free copy of this book through Inkitt Exclusive and am voluntarily and honestly reviewing it.
I definitely wanted to like this story more than I actually did. It's an interesting concept and had some interesting aspects to it. However, the actual execution of the story felt a little iffy.
I didn't like the rather expositional tone of the first few chapters as the actual story didn't begin till a few chapters in. I didn't find the beginning all the necessary. I didn't really do anything for me as far as the characters went. It had a rather slow start and I didn't really find myself liking the main character.
The story does have some likable characters. Overall, I scored this low because I felt it could be better executed and better written.
