The premise was so unique and intriguing, but the execution was disappointing. I get what the author was going for, but sometimes simple is better. The second part is a terrible joke. 
Characters were either awful or forgettable. Hex also suffers from a bad "men writing women" disease. Women were so one dimensional and the focus on their physical appearance was distasteful (we had to be reminded multiple times that Griselda was FAT and some other lady HAD A LARGE FOREHEAD). Just plain, old misogyny, nothing new.
There was also a weird fixation on nipples and breasts. Why? I would like to know too.

. One character has someone grab her boob and squeeze it to teach her a lesson (?). A teenage boy gets an honorable nipple mention! Boobs. Tits. Breasts. Nipples.
