If you are already familiar with Lucinda Riley's books then you know that you are guaranteed a brilliant page turner of a book.
If you are new to her work then settle down, make yourself comfortable, turn off your mobiles and any other distractions, grab a large mug of tea or coffee and be prepared to meet your new favourite author!
As with all her other books, this one is a genuine pleasure to read and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book along with all her other novels, especially the Seven Sisters series.
Lucinda is not only a very talented writer but is a lovely person as well, so everyone should read at least one of her books and discover the magic for yourselves.

An outstanding multi generational read that has it all. The ups and downs, the love and loss, secrets and outright lies. Posy and her family certainly seem to have it all. The ancestral home, the loving children and grandchildren, but at the heart of that beautiful, crumbling mess of mansion is a terrible secret, one that had the power to tear lovers apart. Her children may seem to have it together, but their lives are anything but. It's interesting and intriguing and I definitely shed a tear. The storyline wad fascinating from beginning to end and no one's life was left untouched by fate and the whims of the talented author. Another great read by Lucinda Riley.

Another one of Lucinda's great books, however, definitely not my fave of hers. Posy, the main character, is lovable and witty, and her story is quite heartbreaking. All of the characters are interesting in a way, but i didn't really catch up with the story when i begun reading it. As the plot develops, it starts to get more intriguing, with many flashbacks as always in her books. It's not a complicated story overall, feels more like a comfort book with some drama here and there. I think it's a nice before-bed read.

Another beautifully written book by one of my favourite authors. She weaves a wonderful web between past and present, and you get swept up completely in the story she creates.
