My favorite thing about this book was its connections to Evelyn Hugo and Daisy Jones. I loved the family too, just a tad too slow. Great read!

4.5 stars!!!!!

Taylor Jenkins Reid never lets me down. This was a beautifully written book about family, loss, and forgiveness and I loved every second of it. I don't have a close relationship with my siblings and this book made me wish that I did.

Thank you to Random House Publishing Group, Ballantine Books, and NetGalley for providing me with an eBook copy to review.

Super engaging! I loved all the different characters and each one’s story line. The time jumps made it more interesting. I liked how the audience knew a tidbit of information the other characters have yet to find out - it gave good suspense and buildup.

I loved this book so much! Before starting it I did not realize that Evelyn Hugo was in the same universe so I was a little caught off guard once I heard the name, Celia Saint James. It was difficult to not read this book when I had to sleep or work, but when I could I read.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS BOOK AND THE RIVA FAMILY!!! i don’t know how to explain but i had a deep sense of nostalgia while reading this book and it just made me crave to be in that atmosphere. TJR has done it again making me obsessed with yet another one of her books. wow and can i just say that kit riva has my entire heart? because she absolutely does.

Listen I just really enjoyed this!!! I actively looked forward to reading it and I just loved the characters so much. I love a well-written really character-driven story and this just ticked every box. I loved the nuances to all the characters and they just felt really authentic. This is my first book by this author and I'm looking forward to more !
