I had read "Do Your Worst" and decided to look at what else Rosie had to offer since I enjoyed that one. This one was recommended to me by my work wife, and, honestly, I'm so glad I read this one second. If I went into other Rosie books having already read this one, I might've been disappointed. However, now having both of those under my belt I'm really looking forward to continuing my Rosie journey.
This book is phenomenal. It's the gold standard in my opinion of Opposites Attract. I mean, West Coast porn star and East Coast socialite? It'd be like Ron Jeremy and Paris Hilton (with a much smaller age gap).
Okay, so quick and vague run down of why everyone should read this book:
- Josh is a porn star but NOTHING like what you'd expect
- Super sex-positive
- Discusses issues and shortcomings in the porn industry that are true to life (I'd imagine)
- Sexy Lessons
- Hot Hot Hot
- Love Triangles (kinda, sorta, in weird ways)
I really really really enjoyed this book and am sad I can't read it for the fist time again.
As always, I go in blind when reading books and think this is a perfect book for you to also go in blind! Not really knowing where the story is going since there's a few way/places it can go was so much fun for me.

Clara Wheaton & Josh (Darling) Connors.
I have mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand I enjoyed the story. OTOH, I didn’t think the writing was that good, and didn’t enjoy the third person omniscient POV. Reading the 3rd person POV felt awkward at times, it just didn’t flow. Also the story was cute but I just didn’t believe why Josh & Clara would fall in love with each other.

Rosie Danan decides to tackle misconceptions about the adult sex industry in this contemporary romance. It's an ambitious objective, and understandably, some of the seedier elements are glossed over or all out omitted as it doesn't fit a rom com format. It's a little bit like what "Pretty Woman" did for prostitution.
It was a well written book and introduced intriguing enough characters that I read the sequel.
Bonus points for advocating for women's equality.
