I LOVED THIS!! Super unique, made me laugh. -.5 because I felt like the ending could’ve been a little longer and more in depth and I’m becoming someone who hates the third act breakup, that part could’ve had a bit more of a redemption. Cozy vibes for sure.

“The scary things, the ones you spend the most time and energy talking yourself out of, are the ones that make life worth living.”

I really liked the concept of the book and its execution. Bringing the concept of a sex-positive attitude in books is a very niche category and I've only ever seen it being done in one other book so far...especially with a male character openly working in the *entertainment industry*.
It almost hit the mark, but after about 75% of the book the main male character's habit of always making everything about sex gave me the ick so bad I had to force myself to finish it because I wanted to get to the happy ending. (personal opinion- but his love declarations and inner monologues were always about him moving worlds for her just to end up in her bed.)
But all in all, it was a good book and men being soft for their girls always gets me.

Josh is my new fav book boyfriend! What a lovely feel good story, with great tropes. The miscommunication and overall tone was handled well. The spice scenes were good, and the characters were lovable.
