Not my favorite couple from this series. I felt they were trying too hard. I didn’t see a lot of chemistry between them. It’s a great story if you want a good spicy novella. They have their spicy moments around the house.

City girl Addison (h22) arrives just in time to serve as maid of honor in Emerald & Bo’s Blackbear Bluff wedding. Her initial interactions with best man Brody (H36) are a little awkward, but as they get to know one another they find themselves drawn to one another. When he first saw Addison, Brody seemed to be thinking in terms of a one-night stand but as spend time together he seems to realize he wants the happiness his friends have been finding, but when he misunderstands Addison about what she now wants for her life, their relationship seems to take a downturn. Addison realizes that she has to make Brody understand her plans have changed – she still wants the same things, only she wants them to happen now, with him, in Blackbear Bluff. Loved the finale of all the couple together with all their families. Hot and steamy age gap, mountain man quickie romance with a bit of angst and drama.

All it took was a knock on the door!! Love these books, all centred around Bo and Emerald's wedding. Seeing the same scenario from different perspectives.

This book is about Brody and Addison and like the rest of the books in the Bachelorettes of Blackbear Bluff Series it is a fast paced standalone instalove novella that features the occasional mention of some of the other characters from other books but focuses on the main couple. This book also introduces a character named Tucker who is a Lumberjack that will be featured in the first book (Tempting the Mountain Man: An Age Gap Instalove Romance) of the next series to take place in Blackbear Bluff. I have enjoyed reading this series and plan to read the previous series Bachelors of Blackbear Bluff starting with Bo and Emerald's story in book 6 Teaching the Mountain Man.
