Very different than any of the other Cosmere stories I’ve read to date, and well told. Stories of colonizers are uncomfortable for me, but Dusk’s voice and POV were very engaging throughout.

Possibly my favourite Sanderson novella, which is saying a lot because I wasn’t expecting anything when I picked this up for a quick read. This was so well paced and I found Dawn’s character so interesting. I have so many questions about this world and how it fits into the wider cosmere.
