Absolutely wonderful how Derek Landy's world building approach seems to be just "it's cool, let's put it in." In that respect this series is the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance of YA books, and this is one of the most admirably apesh#t of the lot. Highly recommended.

This book is just fantastic. It's such a brilliant sequel that far outshines the original. It has such a consistent energy throughout that makes it so addicting and fully brings you into the world of Skulduggery Pleasant.

I love the banter in these books so much. Also if you like a good audiobook, these have a fantastic reader and make for very satisfying listens.
