it was a solid book maybe not some some crazy book like the others but solid.

only issue is that in the first quarter of the book the author went into unnecessary detail about certain things.

#5 on my quest to get through this Bosch books. Former love turns up, the mob, vegas and Bosch battling the establishment. Formula for another winning Bosch tale. and I guessed the twist at the end!

Connelly is consistently fascinating. This isn't one of his best but it still puts it ahead of many other contemporary writers and if you're just looking for some good quality fluff this is it.

This one was enjoyable but the plot was not quite as good as the prior books. I do enjoy the way that we follow Harry along as he solves the crime rather than it being one of those mystery stories where they try to surprise you with who the killer is.
