Another good Chapter in Harry Bosch's life. This one is very procedural compared to some Bosch books--way more time at the station, in meetings, dealing with small police policy issues. But the mystery is good and Connelly even lets Bosch feel good for a little while. The mob, a dame with legs, a couple of Samoan tough guys, a rat, and a bag of money. Bosch is on the case.

Generally good but resolution left a little to be desired

This is another excellent read in the Harry Bosch series. From the beginning through to the surprising climax, there are hooks and interesting bits that make the reader keep turning the page. Don't miss this book.

DID NOT FINISH

DNF. It was fine but I wasn’t feeling it

Probably my least favorite Bosch novel so far, but still a great read for the beach.

Fun installment. Follows the second season of Bosch very closely but not so much so that it made it dull although it did spoil a couple of twists.

I continue to enjoy the Harry Bosch novels.

I really liked that in this one there was more of a 'team' vibe. Bosch actually trusted in other officers some and allowed them to help with the case he was working on. I definitely hope to have more of that in future books.

I also enjoy that Bosch finally has a superior officer who understands the way he works and let's him have a little more free reign to get things done. A change of pace from the way things were with Pounds breathing down his neck in previous outings.

I will definitely be continuing on with the next book in this series.

Harry Bosch at his best as we have come to like him, incredible how often the same cop can be under investigation by internal affairs, they must have a,special bench just for him.
