Beautiful characters and story.

The pacing was a little fast, but thankfully their relationship didn't feel forced.

This book was A+++! I loved it from start to finish, it’s an incredible slow burn book and it was a perfect book. I couldn’t put it down.

I wanted to like this much more than I did sadly. Loved the main characters, but there was too much of the book dedicated to explaining the complaint/research. The narration was somewhat repetitive- the characters “thinking,”then “telling” the same stories multiple times. So close, but this missed the mark for me.

This was a quite, swoonworthy read. Luca was heart AND panty melting and Avery was equally amazing. The story started out a bit slow and felt a bit dragged - hence, why I thought that it'd be a 3⭐️ read. But I'm glad that I pushed through because thankfully, it picked up pace from the 70% mark. A great debut novel by Kels and Denise and I look forward to reading more by these authors❤️

This was cute and fine and fluffy. The actual spice didn't start until 70% and believe me, you were well aware. The tension was fine, I suppose, but nothing worth writing home about.

Would definitely recommend it to someone new to the genre who just wants a book to read on the beach, if they're not quite up for the dark mafia smut I usually read!
