This is a masterpiece! This is exactly what I want when I say enemies-to-lovers. The banter, the tension, the angst, the attraction to each other that they're trying to ignore. Avery was a smart and competent girlie and Luca admires her so much for it. I loved it when he finally showed her himself, when Luca the Spanish speaker and happy guy came out.
The thing with the clothes he bought her and telling her it was now their closet was kinda cute in the book, it did fit his character and she neede that to feel accepted but tbh irl I would run the other way if a guy did that lmao
I will definitely keep an eye on these authors, the might write even more gems

It was cute, I liked Avery and Luca. They're competitions in the beginning were a lot of fun and their weekend was adorable, but I found a lot of the end didn't match their personalities/morals (I think the last couple chapters and epilogue could've been cut).
-----------------------------Spoilers --------------------------
I loved the focus on non-profits and diving into that work environment, I was also very interested in the projects discussed or mentioned. However, two people that have now dedicated their lives to the environment... then go and buy a MASSIVE summer house they have to commute to? Like that house would have to be insane to be "out of budget" for two people making CEO salaries (we will get back to that). Plus, what was the beginning about how Luca never traveled and Avery loves to travel and maybe they could travel together etcetera - people that want to spend their free time traveling don't buy a beach mansion when they are environmentally conscious. I just don't see that house/ending meshing with their beliefs. Back to the salary, um why?? I appreciate the idea of ending the pay gap and being equal, but that's in the context of an equal position that Avery and Luca are not in (CEO is not the same workload as a head of a department). I would be pissed if I was one of the other department heads and I am making a fraction of that - doesn't look good.
Overall, I liked the story but I found some things very out of character or not realistic for who they are.

This was so cute! And the rivals in the workplace was so well done! I was so on edge and I couldn't put it down because of how badly I needed to witness the two MCs getting together.
The spice and romance was on point but I was also interested in the plot surrounding ORO. I felt like I was also learning a thing or two while watching two people fall in love.
And the epilogue!!!!
I can't wait to read all the other books in this series!
