This is one of those series that just keeps getting better and better. The amount of humor, passion, and action all balance each other out beautifully. I can't wait to read more!

When will the Wardens get their Waffles? Back at it the Wardens are still working on saving the Earth and its many peoples and the army is gathered to deal with the Mahoun. This turn makes for a fascinating conclusion full of twists, turns, and surprise in between the steamy scenes that will really keep you hooked until the end.

Still a well written plot with a vivid world building and characters I can sense and really get into!

First off, I love how nothing is missing from the plot between books as this picks up exactly where Beneath the Earth ends.

Macey is facing here hardest trials as of yet. Enduring a lot of pain both physical and emotional.

This book is filled with riddles and witty banter. But somehow there is a lack a waffles!

While there is yet another man (a guide of sorts) added to the story, it is still easy to differentiate between characters.

Macey and her men are back on their adventure. Flint needs his fire back and macey is the only one who can do it. She meets a new man her journey. He is her guide. The beginning is slow and the ending is super fast. They also face off against the mahoun. I won't tell you how that turns out though. This book is all about macey and her many issues. She needs to stop denying her destiny and learn to accept the role she must play. Love this series.

Laura Greenwood and Skye Mackinnon have killed it in this book (both figuratively and literally).

“Due to an absence of waffles...” is perfect intro to the book and quick recap of Beneath The Earth is a perfect reminder of what has previously occurred in the series. This definitely sets the tone of story and the comedy scattered throughout the entire series.

The emotions run high in Within The Flames, with each character holding a special place in your heart. I highly recommend joining Macey, Cam, Flint, Jared, Izban, Amber and Rónàn (non Warden), on another epic adventure to save the world from the Mahoun.

***********************************************

Within the Flames is the fourth book in The Seven Wardens series and it starts off right where Beneath the Earth left off with Flint lacking any magic. Macey is about to take a journey with minimal guidance from Malan to find the Lampads, but luckily they come across a guide for Macey in the form of a Daimon - Lucian aka Luc.
When the time calls for it she won’t be able to accept any assistance from her men, to get Flint’s fire back, so Macey will need to continue in her own.

Will she get Flint’s fire back and what are the other Wardens doing? Will Macey be able to connect with the elements and unlock the symbols on her back? And will she finally be the leader everyone hopes she’ll be?

Great continuation of their adventures. I love Macey, you can really experience her emotions along with her and her self doubt is relatable. It's really well written and continues to be a very interesting and unique story.
