I was really disappointed. I had concerns while reading Bad Blood that the characters were not seeming to grow or change at all, and that seems to hold true for them 5 years in the future. I enjoyed it more than I normally enjoy those giant-leap-forward storylines, but it still wasn't nearly as good as the rest of the series and I especially didn't like that my favorite characters, Michael and Sloane, were relegated to the side.

they’re all grown up :’) that was a nice lil novella to finish the series! i’ll miss these naturals immensely. i loved seeing them healing and becoming this strong sense of family where they can now teach others too. i love jlb’s writing and storytelling!!!
