Ich hab einiges gelernt und mag es wie Florian Illies diesen wichtigen Teil unserer Geschichte in spannenden Anekdoten erzählt und sie einem so ganz anders näher bringt.

This is one of the first books that I would describe as “10 pounds of material in a 2 pound book” which is really not much of a complement. It’s essentially in the did-not-finish category since I started selectively reading those sections on the characters most of interest.

Klatschartiger Einblick ins Schlafzimmer der Schickeria der 20er und 30er. Anfangs unterhaltsam, später unübersichtlich und fast eintönig. Kein schlechtes Buch, aber auch kein besonders aufregendes.
