There is nothing like the first book. This one had the standard Freida writing but I really did not enjoy Millie in this one and the story went on far longer than it felt necessary. The book has the usual Freida twists but unfortunately I anticipated them.

I think Miss Freida girl said it best herself... "The third in a series usually isn’t that great" - from this book

Unfortunately this was my least favorite Housemaid story. The only reason I gave it a 3 star was when the story switched to the daughter’s point of view. That’s when the story got exciting and you hear big plot points. Otherwise I felt the story kinda dragged and was a bit boring.

Definitely not as gripping of a story as the first two in the series but still a good read. Another twist at the end that I didn’t see coming.
