This was so cuteeee 😭💕💕

I heard about this series a while back and picked up the first volume to see how it is. It’s a good set up of the characters and good start in Abigail’s journey of atonement- I just honestly which it was longer lol.

It was so sweet when Blanche finally saw her happy smile at the end but then it ends and I’ve never been more let down 😭

What I love is that it touches upon Abigail’s previous life and how it bleeds into the current one now, not only by her actions but as well of her knowledge of clothing and child rearing. It also teases Sabrian’s own past and how it affects him, so I’m hella interested to see how that develops.

I enjoyed the first volume of this magical Snow White retelling. Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom follows our main character Abigail--who was reincarnated from another world into the body of the Evil Stepmother, and Blanche the beautiful princess "the fairest one of all". It has enough of a twist to the original story that it keeps the reader engaged.

I enjoyed the banter between the two main characters. I found their dynamic toxic, with loads of miscommunication, and no intimacy. As we progress in the volume the male lead becomes softer to Abigail, the miscommunications begin to be explained and he sees Abigail in a new light. As the volumes progress I believe there will be more opportunity for their romance which I am rooting for. There is also a mysterious element that I am enjoying. There are also cute little moments that her build their relationship.

I am excited to read the next volume.
