A wandering gaze upon my countenance as I was reading/listening to this book would illustrate how dreadfully dull and boring it is. On the bright side, I learned a new word.

Kind of hated every moment of this. The characters are so insufferable. But thats the point? It was beautiful at times. And tragically romantic. But GOD Heathcliff SUCKS

HE HANGS A DOG and ABUSES EVERYONE AROUND HIM. I was so happy he died.

Despite the main gripe that Wuthering Heights can be odious to read in parts - it is ultimately a literary expedition quite outside the norm of the times. The delicious aspect of unreliable narration making it one of the most compelling post-read ruminations. It will stay immortalized as a tale about the incessant cycles of pain and suffering unleashed by the monstrosity of obsession - yet there are many layers to unpeel here and much to revisit.
I'd have rated this a 3.5 if the scales allowed.
