I was pleasantly surprised by this. I haven't read many Omegaverse books, though I've read urban fantasy shifter books that have common Omegaverse elements. I was looking for a book from the subgenre for a reading challenge and I picked this one because it seemed to bend the "rules" a little bit. It was nice because this is not only MM, but both are "alphas," so there aren't the possessive and/or D/s aspects that I expect in an Omegaverse book. Rather, both the MCs were kind, hard-working, strong, generally emotionally intelligent men who have legitimate baggage to deal with, but who become friends, then lovers, then spouses. Sweet MM HEA for people looking for a fairly traditional monogamous-couple-who-has-kids story.

I was also surprised that one of the MCs is deaf, and that, though it wasn't dealt with in detail, was meaningful in portraying trauma and challenges that deaf people may experience, as well as how meaningful it is for people to learn to sign.

I was pleasantly surprised by the asexual/aromantic representation.

Lovely

Zed and Noah's story was adorable. Zed's love for plants and Noah's love for horses made the story so much more fun. Loved the sweet and angsty bits too.

Loved this book. Been waiting for Noah’s story and it was worth the wait. I love this author. Her books always give me warm, fluffy feels. These are my go to books to cheer me up. This series never disappoints. Here’s to many more

Handi-abled

Noah is deaf. He thinks he will never find someone. Zed is alone. He gets tricked into adopting miniature horses. Enter Noah's stables. Love this book!
