Cette autrice a le don de créer des histoires pas possibles, de vies ultra difficiles remplies de mensonges et de supercheries!

Je savais à quoi m’en tenir et je me pensais plus brillante

So much drama! I haven't read a VC Andrews book since high school and it is exactly how I remember. It has all the drama of a 90s soap opera. Secret siblings and forbidden love. What more can I say?

a classic vc andrews as in the same plot with alot of them and just sort of boring really but some parts were worth it.

Love this book. Ruby is amazing

Not as much fun as when I was younger. Way too petty. It was embarrassing to read
emotional hopeful medium-paced

My review is this………Giselle & Daphne I just wanna punch in the face! In typical V.C. Andrews style, this book is full of family drama, scandalous, and taboo. Unfortunately, I probably won’t read the other two books in the series 😔

I enjoy most of VC Andrews' ghost writer's works. They're never exactly how I think she would have written it, but he does well. Ruby had a wonderful relationship with Grandmere Catherine and she will never disgrace it no matter what Giselle and Daphne do to her. She had great character development. The only thing that bothered me, like with many other male authors, is how her sexuality was portrayed. Overall, good book.

"For truth was a bright light and just like any bright light, it was hard to look into it."

I put this book down for a while and right as I picked it up it got incredibly good. The first 100 pages or so are rather droll but once it picks up this story is incredible. Absolutely entrancing and a wonderful page turner. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into the next installment.
