While not as entrancing as the Thrawn series, I still found myself needing to know what happens next. The biggest problem I have with the book is actually nothing against the book or author, but has to do with the use of the Force in the universe. Anderson is stuck trying to figure out how to write about some unexplained and nebulous thing works but none of the mechanics of the system were ever really worked out. It leaves talented writers stuck with phrases like "he used a Jedi calming exercise," because trying to explain it further or say much more opens them up to possibly going against canon or some other mumbo jumbo.
Seeing as how my only big complaint is a system thing, not a plot, dialogue, character or concept thing, I am pleased to say it is a good way to end this trilogy.

The conclusion to the Jedi Search trilogy. Unfortunately it was more of the same poor writing which actually dipped from the previous book.

That was a damn good finale to a series that started off shaky. You can practically hear the Star Wars theme throughout and the final battle is EPIC.
