4 Stars.

šŸ· The vibes:
  • roommates
  • Opposites attract
  • Fake dating
  • Forced proximity
  • Librarian fmc
  • Tattoos

šŸ· My thoughts:
Oh wow. The beginning of this one sucked me in quick. Itā€™s wild - so try to keep up. šŸ˜‚So we have two couples. Daphne and Peter who are engaged and about to be married; and we have Miles and Petra . Well Peter leaves Daphne to be with Petra. So what is Daphne to do - living in a new place with nowhere to live and no community to help her out? Move in with Miles and be awkward roomies until she can figure out whatā€™s next for her.

šŸ· I loved Milesā€™s super chill energy! Instant attraction from me to his vibe. But he also had depth and a backstory which is something that every cinnamon roll MMC needs. I also loved Daphne and seeing her librarian passion really shine through. I found this aspect of her so endearing.

šŸ· The humor and banter spoke to my soul. I literally laughed out loud several times.

šŸ· The conflict and the blow up was a lot for me and was a little hard to get down- but otherwise this was a super enjoyable read that has me excited to read other books by Emily Henry.

šŸ· Other things I loved with no context:
The kiss
The banter
The dunes
Whiny babies
Ashleigh
Cherry Hill

Note- open door; easily skippable with plot staying solid.

Similar to: Just for the Summer in the parental complexities and feeling like a summer read to me.
