Out of all the books, this was the most plot-heavy in a good way, I love the way their relationship developed and the entire book shaped. I also loved that Tink was shown as a fat character without mentioning her sizing or anything this way people could understand it to their liking without feeling insecure (some books show a size 10 as fat which is…stupid?) anyways I loved how she was so confident but they humanized her with her insecurities and balanced her out perfectly.

NOW HOOK is the sort of man I’d marry, 100% no questions asked. He’s sweet and understanding and is a really good dom overall. I liked the way their time with others was shown as and the way they fit so perfectly.

They were probably my favorite couple of the series as well, anyways pick this up fir sure it’s worth it…the entire series is.

The best in the series so far.
Tink as a “plus-sized” queen is relatable for those of us who don’t fit into societal norms.

This book also takes place in Carver City and features the Underworld. Safe word is used. This is a true to form Katee Robert book so hold on tight for the 2+ person scenes. This book explores healing after abuse and isolation, as well as self discovery

This is my favorite of the series so far. I love that Tink is strong and confident AND also human enough to be scared. I love that she’s a sub in bed and an equal outside of it, all the way through. I love the banter and the lighthearted conversation despite the desperate circumstances. I love it all.

Gah, this series is seriously so addicting!! I love these messy, complicated characters. And the sex is soooo good!!!

Hook and Tink have a shared enemy in Peter - Tink because she escaped him and Hook because he took Peter’s territory. When Tink’s deal with Hades expires, she is forced to find a new home. Hook offers her a place to live for a price - she must marry him and he’ll keep her safe.

I love the marriage of convenience trope, and I love the biting snark Tink constantly deploys against Hook. I had so much fun reading their interactions, even as some aspects were rough. Tink being a survivor of abuse was so well done, and her trauma responses are very relatable. I’m very curious and excited to continue the series because as other characters get more depth, the more I crave their story. Just all around such a good story with complex characters who keep me wanting more!
