Beautiful art and a beautiful message, but terrible rhyming.

The rhymes were cumbersome to read on the fly, but the illustrations are killer and the overall positivity of the book is refreshing. I love that the prince and knight work as a team.

Bonus: the two-year-old got VERY INTO pretend swordplay every time I said “knight.” Very entertaining.

THIS IS THE CUTEST KIDS BOOK EVER. All kids should read this book. A prince falling in love with the knight is just adorable. Yay for LGBT kid books.

Oh my it is so cute. I love the little things. They don't kill the dragon. The prince and the knight save each other. The parents are supportive (this always makes me cry). And the difference in the end papers from the front and the back. SOOOOO ADORABLE!
