A simple children's picture book. And yet I haven't seen much like this one. It will be an improvement in this world for this book to seem some day to be boring and trite. And only original because of what happened to the dragon.
I read that this book has been challenged and some parents wanted it out of a library. So, hell yes, I had to read it. I've read some of the reviews here on goodreads and a lot of people don't like the book because of the rhyming. Will kids mind if the rhymes are good or bad? No, they will like the idea of the prince and the knight fighting the dragon. It's a fairy tale and it's a very sweet story. Yes, the pictures are a little cutesy but again it's a children's book. I loved it and thought it was a wonderful little book.

The Disney-esque illustrations are gorgeous! The rhyme scheme can be a little clunky at times, but the story is engaging.
