Beaucoup trop court ! Je veux une histoire complète et détaillé sur cette histoire. Si vous avez des recommandations... ;)

This was a wonderful children’s book. It’s a lovely fairytale about a Prince finding his one true love. What more can you ask for?
Plus, the illustrations were gorgeous.

This is a beautifully-illustrated book about a Prince who can’t find the right Princess, because what he actually wants is a knight. To be completely honest, I swooned over the simplicity and honesty that is this book. Oh! And there's a dragon. :)

So sweet! So pure! I love the art in this book too!

Cute illustrations, minimal story, love the love is love message.

This book was a reflection-inducing mix of role reinforcement but relation rearrangement with respect to gender. I felt that both were conscious, and they worked together to produce a different effect in someone (myself) raised in a partway progressive–traditional household versus in someone (my nephew) raised in a deliberately feminist one. I found it a charming remix on the old traditional fantasy story, whereas he seemed mostly to enjoy having the story resolved in a way that made obvious sense—and, of course, the suspenseful battle with the dragon.

My rating is my attempt to gauge his: He went back to review and talk about several pages, but didn't seem to keen to read (or reread) the text when i gave him openings to. But it was a great and short read that allowed us to read two books to him in one night.

Personal enjoyment rating: ****

Just because it's an LGBTQ book, doesn't mean it's good or should be published. The rhymes were very awkward. The pictures are nice.

I really enjoyed this picture book. So sweet, and can I get a huzzah for representation?

Lot's of people had an issue with the rhyming structure of this one, but I didn't find it to be a problem - though it may be because I wasn't reading it out loud so that may be a factor.
