This picture book is absurdly cute. The vibrant illustrations and rhyming storytelling work together so well, and it shapes a really lovely love story. This is a new fairy tale that could easily be a staple on any children's bookshelf.

This book is SO CUTE. I had a lot of fun reading this to my daughter in honor of Banned Book Week. She liked it a lot too.
A sweet story with lovely illustrations. I absolutely loved it!
The prince searches high and low for someone to rule beside him. Happily, he finds his partner when he and a knight work together to defeat a dragon.

Overall Thoughts — Prince & Knight is a beautiful children’s book that can be read by anyone. If you want a fairy tale about true love and what it means, I would definitely recommend this book!
Synopsis — A sincere prince travels all over the kingdom to find his true love, but can’t seem to find them… until he meets a handsome knight.

Written in rhymes, Prince & Knight tells the story a sincere prince and a handsome knight. The prince, who will soon become king, tries to find his true love. Travelling far and wide throughout the kingdom, he can’t seem to find anyone he connects with… until he meets a handsome knight. This story discusses true love and how important it is in a beautiful way.
Characters
The Prince — Our main character is a prince from a kingdom far from here. His character is someone who readers can look up to and see themselves in. Trying to find his true love, he is hopeful for his happily ever after. His kindness and appreciation for those around him presents him as an admirable character.
The Knight — The other main character of this story is a handsome knight. Compared to the prince, readers aren’t really given a glimpse at this character until the end of the story. However, with the scenes we are given, we can tell the knight is a kind character.

Things I Liked
The prince’s and the knight’s parents and kingdom are all very accepting, presenting a positive LGBTQ+ relationship.
The illustrations are absolutely beautiful!
The pacing of the plot is easy for young readers to keep up with.
Things I Disliked
Some of the rhyme beats felt slightly off.
