Great for lovers of Indiana Jones, historical books, and young readers interested in mythology! Such a fun, yet twisted read.

What a delightful adventure! This was pure fun and had me smiling through chapters more than once. The characters have such a great dynamic, especially the siblings Jo (HILarious)and Bennett (swoony). It’s so accurate! And Sam Knox herself is someone to watch for. A book binding historian nerd girl gets swept up on a cross-Atlantic chase against a secret dark-magic brotherhood searching for ancient artifacts before the monsters of Celtic lore are brought to daylight and start a global war *takes breath* — all in the roaring 1920s!
I am sorry Moke’s debut, Hood, got lost as a COVID lockdown release as I also really enjoyed it. Hopefully it’s rediscovered as her sophomore novel and subsequent series takes off!
