Definitely one of the best books I've ever read in my life!
This book is necessary! So much as that it should be a mandatory read to - at least - those studying psychology.

This book was far too long. I really enjoyed the parts about her childhood, I was really absorbed and interested.
When we get into her adulthood (and especially when she starts studying psychology) I expected there to be changes in how the story is told. I expected hearing about her schooling, her work as a therapist, ect. That is not what we got. We get her relationship and marriage troubles…over and over and over again. Repeating the same issues and discussions we’ve had the entire novel. It honestly got a bit exhausting. And there’s a part where she says that her and David are meant for each other….are we sure about that? I hate to comment on real life people and their marriage when I don’t know them personally, but based on what we see in the book, they seem pretty terrible for each other lol. It made it really hard to enjoy the last half of the book.
Unfortunately, i don’t feel like I got much from this or learned anything new. The authors states she wrote this in order to help other sociopaths feel seen and understood, but for the most part, it doesn’t come across that way. Frankly, it just feels like a white woman bragging about all the crimes she got to commit without getting caught lol.
