One of the worst and longest books I’ve ever read

As with Snow, I find that Pamuk's books start off well, and then get very slow about 2/3 of the way through. I found that I was bored with his style. I kept reading because I wanted to find out the ending, although that is generally not the point of his books.

Pamuk provides an intriguing glimpse into a very narrow range of Turkish history with this mystery and love story told from many different points of view. This book was read using the John Lee Audible production; great reader, difficult story. Always fascinating.
