Teetering on 3 stars but gave it 4 because of the last sentence in the book. The writing is pretty average but the story moves quick and it's easy to ignore some of the dated themes and language. Overall a fun thriller with a satisfying conclusion, although less gripping than Red Dragon. Needless to say, I'll be reading the rest of the series.
