Now this was a thriller, I stinking loved it. I loved the constant zooming out of the story and yeah, it was kinda predictable but by that point, it felt so high octane that I didn't even care. The two main characters were complex and not exactly loveable but definitely not people you rooted against either.

But also there is *definitely* something wrong with Katherine

Another solid bone chilling thriller from Sarah Pekkanen. The characters were very engaging, and it was hard to know who to trust between Catherine and Ruth. I was on the edge of my seat as Ruth's backstory unfolded. What I liked best though was the description of the mother-daughter relationship, and all the difficult nuances that play into such a relationship.

This book was okay but I found it rather disappointing. The main twist was obvious and was revealed halfway through. The second half of the book was slow and not very suspenseful.
