This was the first book I’ve bought blindly due to the cover with the strawberry art. I thought it was beautiful, but I also thought the book was going to be fantasy so I was quite shocked when I realized it definitely wasn’t. 😭 I almost was going to dnf it but since I already bought it, I gave it a shot and I did end up enjoying it! There were aspects that weren’t my favorite and Aida definitely annoyed me a bit in the beginning, but I loved that she really matured towards the end. The ending was very cute!

Took a break from a different series to read this one because I was getting way too many recommendations from tiktok. Now that I’ve read it, I love how the cover ties into a part of the story (it’s hilarious actually). I wasn’t sure how I felt about the book and was getting bored until the 20% mark and it really started to pick up. Knowing that the next book is about the siblings finding love is so exciting cause Seb and Nero have my heart. More realistic take on a mafia romance. All the love, always <3

This book is so fun and a great, fast read for when you're in a reading slump. There's a decent side plot, and the main two characters have such funny interactions. I think this book could've had more plot details and schemes, but I still had a lot of fun throughout this read! 

I recommend it to people looking for tension, small politics, gang side-plots, mafia, and spice

Definitely read the trigger warnings. But I DEVOURED this book. A lot funnier than I expected it to be, and the slow burn had me giddy by the end. The spicy scenes were great and I loved the ending, which is honestly not something I can say often.
