I enjoyed this book, the concept, plot. Odd enough the only thing I didn't like was the climax. I just felt like I saw it coming and it was rushed. The ending was nice and I loved reading about Artie and how she grew into her role.

Late blooming half-werewolf from a long line of werewolves?? Sign me up! The art is gorgeous, the storytelling is both thoughtful and exciting, and it was so easy to fall in love with the characters! Sweet LGBTQ+ representation for middle grade readers and primarily Black and POC main characters! Stephens nailed this one, and I look forward to seeing more of her work!
