It was a big library read on libby and I needed something light after The Road.

3 stars for being entertaining but not blowing me away unfortunately

Finished this on my lunch break and OMG it's so precious. A black, sapphic protagonist discovering who she is!? That was all I needed to hear. The small details - especially with Artie's hair - meant so much to me. I'm an adult and this made me feel seen. I can only hope a lot of kids get to read this and feel seen too.

It was very light-hearted, which was nice. I wish it delved a little deeper into the conflict and characters, but, overall, it was a decent read.

I read this book because it was the #biglibraryread of the month. As it was a graphic novel, it was definitely a quick read for me...but not without many twist and turns that I didn't see coming. The concept of this book was an interesting twist on vampires and werewolves. The only thing that I dislike about this book is the fact that there isn't another one to continue the story, lol.

Graphic novel. I read this as part of the Library Big Read. Wow, this book is great on so many levels. Fun and thoughtful.
