I really loved this book and connected so much to the main character. I have read the criticisms and yes Evie is mean to Liam sometimes and yes Liam is basically the perfect man, but if you understand where she is coming from and her background, her behavior makes sense. As someone with a chronic illness, I completely understand the mentality and the reasons for her thoughts, feelings and actions. It was a good portrayal of the complex feelings of someone whose body doesnt match their brain and cannot make them both align to her wishes. It was well done and the story was totally swoonworthy.

Beautiful and a realistic representation of what having endometriosis is like.

I can't say for myself what endometriosis feels like as I don't have it but through the people that I know that do, this is a very realistic representation of how it is like. It also gives a view of what people with chronic pain and other problems that cause similar pain feel like too. In general the romance and this entire book was definitely worth reading. It's nice and cozy and I'm sure you won't regret reading it.

I feel like this one was trying too hard. Evie isn’t very likable to be, not even cause she was whining all the time; she just didn’t have any sort of self-accountability. You’re 27, if you don’t like how you’re mom talks to you, you can fix that. I promise.

If someone had introduced Evie to a therapist at like. 10% through the book this would probably be five stars. I had a lot of fun reading it but I did find the “I don’t deserve love because I’m chronically ill” plot line tedious.

I was hooked by the title alone, but this book was even better than I could have imagined. I fell in love with both characters immediately, even with Liam’s less-than-stellar past, at least where Evie is concerned. I loved all the Gene Kelly & Audrey Hepburn references sprinkled throughout the book. The chronic illness representation with Evie’s endometriosis was well written. It does a great job of showing the difficulties that come with it, while still giving us an amazing love story. This book had me feeling all the emotions. This is one of those books that I couldn’t put down and it made me sad to finish the story and leave these characters behind. This will definitely be one of my favorite books that I have read this year and I have found a new favorite author.

Some books mean A LOT. This is one of them. As a person who suffers from endometriosis, having a heroine who literally knew my pain and still finds love - gives me hope. Evie and Liam's story was simply wonderful. The way Liam loved her and such Evie for Evie was perfect. This is a book I will not forget.

This book hit all the feels.. A chronic illness rep more specifically an endo rep done perfectly, with all the right trigger warnings in the front of the book, an enemies to lovers, fake dating trope, set in Paris.

Yes this book was a typical romance but it did not shy away from all the things that someone with a chronic illness deals with on a daily basis. Everything I'm taling about accepting their illness, parental struggles, snide remarks from strangers, estranged relationships with friends, not knowing how to act at family gatherings and oh the flare days. Torie Jean perfectly depicted those flare days to the absolute T. I loved this book. If you know someone with a chronic illness pick up those book and you will have a better understanding about what we go through on a daily basis. This book helped me understand myself so much better. Loved it!!

I was gifted an arc by Net Galley in exchange for an honest review as always all words are my own.
