Another set of fun poems that I would definitely enjoy more if I was younger.

Woo! I have finished my "Winnie-the-Pooh" reading journey!

I had so much fun revisiting some old childhood memories of Pooh and the other characters! 🧸🍯

Like I've said before, the kinda dark-ish themes and little hints of reality are really entertaining to me, but still the verses remain childish and fun, some of the verses truly spoke to me.

I must admit, that I liked the first two books the most, but this doesn't mean that the books of verses are bad, no way! I think they were quite beautiful at moments, but I just enjoyed the storytelling of the characters more, because that meant that I had Eeyore to look forward to!! (Still my favourite, next to Pooh and Piglet <3)

(P.S to myself - I have chosen markers with colours, that match the book covers, and I use those colours to highlight parts of the text! This one is peach🧡)

Good heavens, what a delightful little book! Milne was a genius when writing from a child's point of view, and capturing the feelings of childhood, both the complicated and the uncomplicated. And the nostalgia! If you, like me, have experienced anemoia (the type of nostalgia for a time or a place one has never known) all your life, you need a copy of this book. Are there little ones in your life? Each needs a copy of this book. Age doesn't matter, this book is wonderful, and I believe it will speak to you no matter how young or old you might be. Also, this has the best introduction I've ever read, and I recommend not skipping over it!

just as with when we were very young i don’t think it should be marketed as a part of the winnie the pooh series. ultimately it’s just a collection of poems really with just the tiniest link to the characters. the poems aren’t bad, i quite like some of them, but it’s just a bit disappointing going into this thinking it’s a winnie the pooh book when it’s marketed as such
