Don't bother if you like books to have a real ending

Not bad, but it reads like an imitation of Jodi Taylor's St. Mary's series. The story seems to end, but bits are left hanging. I am not going to invest either time or money to find out what happens next.

Some tense issues that bothered me, and two separate tenses for no real reason. Entertaining, but not super captivating or compelling. Characters seemed kind of flat, one dimensional.
