I WILL JUDGE YOU BY YOUR BOOKSHELF by Grant Snider is the perfect graphic novel for bookworms! There was so much in this book that I could relate to: bookhoarding, the feeling stressed-out after an intense reading phase, the not being able to choose book phase, and so much more. Snider also included a Haruki Murakami bingo and other very satisfying, recognisable comics. There were not many 'newly' explored themes related to bookwormery for me in this book, but they were mixed with a lot of unique humour and creativity by Snider's hand! I'm rating this book with ★★★★★

Snider delightfully brings to life the joy, wonderment, frustration, and inspiration of loving and (trying to) create books. I loved his illustrations (in fact I hope he sells prints) and especially love his rhyming style in the majority of them so that it never felt pretentious or preachy. Instead he's managed to create something poignant and uplifting but also fun and sweet. If you enjoy the New Yorker and artists like Tom Gauld and Debbie Tung then I think you will really love Grant Snider. 

Just so you know, I loved this so much that a few pages in I was buying it and one more by him. (I was reading a library copy.)

For the book nerds, the grammar lovers, and the pun-obsessed.
Although a bit repetitive at times, this was a book that most bibliophiles will relate to, with sweet illustrations to give you a chuckle.
