Great little book full of illustrators about books, bookishness, reading and writing. Very similar to Book Live by Debbie Tung. Would make a nice gift for a book lover or writer.

I enjoy Snider's comics in isolation on social media, but I found that as a collection this didn't work for me like I wanted it to. I agree with another reviewer here--as I widened my social circle to include many types of readers, I've made friends who justifiably have problems with things like the near-fetishization of introversion and things like reading at social gatherings (incredibly rude!), and I found the cutesy "I'll judge your bookshelf but please don't judge mine!" grating even when it was clearly a joke. (At least people are reading! Don't judge what they like to read! Don't be a gatekeeper!) Collected as a book, the humor felt one-note. I had fun with most of it, but I was hoping to enjoy it more.
