This had vignettes which really clicked with my flavor of book enjoyment and it had some which didn't click, mostly ones about owning copies of books, since I usually get books through libraries (i.e. poor college student). Nonetheless, I love the art and the vibe. Super highly recommend!

Clever and funny! I felt the focus was more toward writing stories than enjoying reading. I expected more of the latter, but I enjoyed it all the same.

A quick but delightful read on the love of reading and writing. I may not know a number of the references made here, but there was still fun to be had reading this. I’m fact, I’ve read a number of these comics before but re-reading them in the context of a body of works - in this case, a book of comics about reading - gave me a better understanding of them. The e-reader version isn’t coloured (of course), but the illustrations are still simple and lovey and the writing is occasionally snarky but always heartfelt.

Overall - 4 stars from me!
