Fascinating and uncomfortable. Wilde talks a lot of pretty bullshit. Would re-read.

After watching the 2009 movie remake called "Dorian Gray" i was busting to read the novel thinking that it will be better (as books always are). But I found it boring and some people will most likely disagree with me but I found that Oscar Wilde did a lot of blah blah blahing that didn't interest me and I found myself skipping a lot. I got to more than half way and didn't feel like going through with the rest. I'm disappointed in myself for not liking it because it's such a classic but it's just not for me unfortunately. Maybe one day I'll pick up The picture of Dorian Gray and try again but at the moment I think I'll just go back to drooling over actor Ben Barnes playing Dorian Gray in the movie.
